The final report in regards to the efficiency of Guilford County's multiple fire departments has been released. A consulting firm, Emergency Services Consulting International, was brought in to determine what sort of issues the county was doing well with or what they may be able to improve on.
I have to admit that I haven't had the pleasure of reading the entire 200+ page evaluation but do intend on doing so. If you are involved in GCES in any fashion, I'd think it'd be wise to do the same. It covers everything from operations and admin to facility conditions and radio traffic.
