Ladder companies were tasked with "making doors" or new emergency exits, this was done utilizing the aerial platform, a K12 and a NY Hook.
Companies involved were Engines 17, 18, 19 & 20, Ladder 19, Rescue 5 and PTIA Fire Units (Station 100). All Greensboro companies, excluding R5, are from Battalion 3, and are tasked with coordinating ARFF operations with PTIA.
