52b Runs Stubborn Scrap Metal Trailer Fire

Engine 52, Car 3, Engine 19 and Tanker 17 responded to a reported vehicle fire on Westbound 40. Upon arrival, 19 found smoke and flames showing. 52 attacked with the bumper line and a cross lay. The fire was deep in the scrap. After some digging, over 1000 gallons of water and some foam, the fire was finally extinguished.
